Before the world fit in your pocket, there was a device capable of transporting you to infinite worlds of possibility. You stared at it for hours, elbows braced and thumbs at the ready. Eyes locked. Time paused. The smell of mac & cheese filled the air and all that mattered was the next boss battle. Sometimes it worked. Sometimes you had to blow into the cartridge like a sacred ritual we all instinctively knew without being taught. You weren’t just playing. You were becoming. A heroic plumber. A daring pilot. A pixelated knight. And when the batteries died for the last time, so did a little piece of the magic — until now. This sculpture isn’t a toy. It’s a memory made solid. A monument to the first time you disappeared into wonder.
